When photographers shoot under certain lighting conditions, color casts may be introduced to the image.   We achieve optimal color correction for an image by following a photographer's color preferences. In order to achieve the optimal color correction, our color specialists review and adjust.

•  Contrast
•  Saturation
•  Sharpness.  

In addition, when applying color correction, the goal is to ensure color consistency of the main subject throughout all of the images.  For example, in the case of a bride, the goal is to ensure that her skin tone appears consistent throughout the entire set of images.

Picsera performs all correction using the Adobe Photoshop Camera RAW processing engine.  Color Correction can be performed on either RAW files or JPG files, but when possible, Picsera recommends the use of RAW files as they contain more information and provide more flexibility when correcting over or underexposed images.  High volume shooters such as wedding photographers and other event photographers should learn about Picsera's Lightroom and Smart Previews workflow. This workflow gives us the benefit of using RAW without the need to transfer large files.
