At the 2015 Wedding and Portrait Photographers International Conference and Expo
Clay Blackmore, an award-winning Canon Explorer of Light and friend of Picsera, is teaching “Adding Motion to Stills—Extending Your Reach and Increasing Your Revenue” at the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) Conference and Expo, Wednesday March 4 from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. By using the capabilities of his DSLR, Blackmore has turned his wedding and portrait business into a full-service, multimedia studio that offers the latest in high-production films.
“Photographers had an old adage, “If you’re in the darkroom you’re not making money, now it’s “If you’re at the computer!…,” said Blackmore “By choosing a post-production service provider photographers can delegate the more mundane tasks like culling, color correction and album making and at the same time can deliver faster, increase their suite of offerings, and perfect their unique craft.”
Photographers can maximize their time by delegating image enhancement activities to image experts. Specializing in post-production services, Picsera’s passionate team of digital imaging artists and technology innovators have experience with the most advanced imaging software available such as Nik Software, Topaz, OnOne Software, VSCO, Perfectly Clear, Fundy Software, and a variety of other applications.
“Every photographer has to work with technology, but they don’t need to master every aspect to be successful,” said Blackmore. “Today’s imaging programs such as Photoshop and Lightroom are very advanced and can take years to master. And, with today’s cloud technology, you don’t need to own a large studio to take advantage of services like Picsera’s.”
Recently Blackmore packed the house at the Virginia Professional Photographers Association (VPPA) 2015 Mardi Gras Convention, where he presented “Weddings: Good, Better, Best!” Don’t miss Blackmore’s presentation at WPPI and remember to stop by Picsera’s Booth (#1271) at WPPI Expo. Expo hours are, Monday and Tuesday, March 2-3, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, and Wednesday, March 4, 10:00a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
“Running a business is a balancing act. At my studio I have had ten different employees over the past couple years and each person has their own way of doing things,” Blackmore said. “With Picsera we’ll have a new standard of production that is streamlined.”
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) February 11, 2015 — When Matthew Jordan Smith started his book project, “Future American President”, he had no idea just how far reaching it would go. Now, two and a half years later the book captures the dreams of children of one hundred families in fifty states all based on the question, “What would you do if your were president?”
Eight year old, Jacob, from Illinois wrote, “if I were a presidend I would make shure everyone had food.”
Twelve year old Kennedy from Mississippi wrote, “If I were president I would help people get along with each other. People judge others by what they look like and not what’s on the inside. Everyone is special in their own way and there is no need to change!”
From the whimsical to the serious, Matthew Jordan Smith has captured the essence of their goals in both their portrait and their hand-written dreams. That old expression, “from the mouths of babes” couldn’t be more accurately displayed over and over again in this stunning presentation.
“I wanted to capture more than just their portrait,” commented Smith. “I wanted to create a body of work that was representative of a segment of America’s youth. These kids represent infinite dreams and in their own words, a hope to change America.”
Future American President is destined to be one of the most talked about books of 2015. It’s received terrific reviews and is on its way to the White House.
